Sandra Bullock accepts her Razzie

Sandra Bullock took the Golden Globe, the Screen Actors Guild award, the Critics' Choice Movie Award and is the odds-on favorite to win as Best Actress at Sunday night's 2010 Oscars – but those are for her true-life role in the drama The Blind Side.

For her multi-dimensional part of a newspaper crossword puzzle writer in the 2009 comedy All About Steve, Bullock has now claimed the fun award: the 2010 Golden Raspberry, or Razzie. And she personally showed up to Hollywood's Barnsdall Gallery Theater on Saturday night to pick it up – along with the Razzie that she and Bradley Cooper "won" for worst screen couple.

"I thought no one went to see this film, but I know that there are more than 700 members here," said Bullock, who made her entrance pulling a wagon filled with All About Steve DVDs to give the crowd.

"I brought the shooting script," she also said. "I'm willing to go through page by page, read the line the way I did it in the film and, if anyone wants to give me a line read of how I could've done it better ... We can do this till about 4 o'clock in the morning. Or you guys can just watch the movie and rethink your decision, and I'll show up next year and we can go out for a drink afterward."

The crowd loved her, reports the Los Angeles Times.

'Kind of, Duh'
Came time she and Cooper got the worst-couple award, Bullock said, "Again, if you had seen the film, seen it with your eyes, it's pretty much a film about a woman stalking a man. That doesn't really set up the premise for a loving couple. So giving us the worst couple award is kind of, duh."

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was cited as worst picture and for worst director (Michael Bay) and screenplay. Worst actor honors were divided among the Jonas Brothers for the Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience.

This also being the 30th anniversary of the Razzies, which were founded by irreverent copywriter and publicist John Wilson, special prizes were given for worst-of-the-decade selections. Those dis-honored include Battlefield Earth as worst picture of the 00's and, for their acting performances, Eddie Murphy and Paris Hilton. (Click here for the list of Razzie winners.)

Bullock had promised beforehand that she would claim her prize in person, calling her Oscar and Razzie nominations "exactly the way it should have happened, because it's a great leveler." Speaking last month, she added, "If you don't show up for something like the Razzies then you're a little hypocritical. You can't just show up for the good stuff."

At Saturday's ceremony, she said, "I said I would show up, and then I miraculously won!" As a result, she noted, she's helped prove once again that in Hollywood "all you have to do is show up and you get an award."

Another Big Night Ahead
The Razzie win also puts into motion what could prove to be a record-establishing weekend for Bullock. Should she now also win the Oscar, she will be the first star ever to take home Hollywood's highest and lowest awards in the same year.

Others have been dual winners but in non-acting categories, and some – such as Halle Berry – have already taken home both the Oscar and the Razzie, though not in the same year.

As it is, Berry also deserves a good sportsmanship award, for establishing the precedent of graciously accepting her Razzie in person. That momentous – and surprising – occurrence took place in 2005, when she was "honored" for her role in the stinker Catwoman.

Clutching her Razzie – which really looks more like a tacky golden pineapple than a raspberry – Berry said at the time, "I never in my life thought I would be up here. It's not like I ever aspired to be here." Shaking from the excitement, Berry then held up her Oscar for the crowd to see. "And no," she said. "I don't have to give this back. It has my name on it."

Sandra, take heed.
